Before the weather returns to normal (low to mid 70s) we've been swimming in the pool and today did the Water Park. We visited the normal haunts in the evening DTD / EPCOT / Boardwalk.
Drove down to Haines City this evening to try Mannys Chop House but it was rammed with people and loads waiting so we headed back and ate at Bahama Breeze. It was also busy but the food was as good as it normally is.

27th December
Nothing much to report.
Headed to Celebration last night for bit more snow then hit Chick-Fil-A for a bit of fast food.
Today we uhmed and ahhed before going to EPCOT.
Libby decided that she doesn't like Mission : Space but does like Test Track. Then we wandered the World Showcase where I had a beer in Norway, France and Morrocco....not many days you can say that.
Again the girls pin traded and Syd bought a book for her pins. We tried to talk her out of it, as she won't use it in the UK, but she wanted it..
Headed back to the condo and spent 30 minutes in the hot tub trying to tire Oren out a little. Very warm still even though the sun has disappeared for the day. Plan is now Downtown Disney for relaxing evening but we'll see.

Peabody Orlando
We had brunch at the Peabody for our Christmas meal and also booked a concierge room for the night.
We were on the 26th floor with wonderful views across to Downtown Orlando and also Disney on the other side. You can't argue with a room that has a TV in the bathroom.
Food was lovely and the hotel was great. As we went for a wander the Michigan State football team were checking in, all 5 coach loads. Turns out the 'Spartans' are playing in the Capital One Bowl on Jan 1st 2009 against Georgia.
We ended the evening in the lobby listening to the pianist and enjoying JD & coke (me) and Martinis (Heidi). Only had to make it upstairs to get to bed possibly reading the free copy of 'Cigar Afficianado' before hitting the hay. We also had a club room with free nibbles, cookies and coffee.
Spent Boxing Day morning lazing by the Peabody pool before heading back to our condo to laze by the pool for the afternoon. The traffic to the shopping outlets was mad so we'll skip that for a couple of days.

Osborne Lights and Xmas Eve
We visited the Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios on Xmas Eve Eve which were great. I still prefer the non-dancing version of a few years back but these look great as well.
On Christmas Eve we spent the day at Blizzard Beach followed by a round of mini-golf at WinterSummerLand. After I won (Libby comes second and Syd third) we drove to Animal Kingdom, as it was the nearest park to BB, for the last 3 hours of the park.
The girls pin trade with every cast member they see and, surprisingly, when we get to Everest there is only a 10 minute wait....on Christmas Eve...time for night ride.
After we have a nice wander around the park, with lots more pin trading shennanigans, we leave to try and get some bread for breakfast in the morning.
Publix and Walmart are closed (I think they were open late 2 years ago on Xmas Eve as we did a last minute rush shop) so we end up at a local Supermarket-come-knife-shop-come-electronics-shop.
I decide against surprising Heidi with a 10 inch hunting knife, surprise as in present NOT jumping out with it!!!!.
Weird store but we got beer so I'm happy.

Boardwalk / EPCOT / Mount Dora
The last 2 nights at Disneys Boardwalk and EPCOT. We also drove up North a little today to check out a lovely old town called Mt Dora.
Worth a visit with lots of nice little shops and a few recreation areas to explore.
